On Friday November 1st, McShin’s Philanthropy Committee is hosting the 2nd Annual Recovery Raise silent auction and speaker event. We hope you will join us!

Why Recovery Raise? Why should you care about Substance Use Disorders?
The mission of The McShin Foundation is to deliver a message of hope to individuals with Substance Use Disorders and to facilitate their journey to a healthier life.
  • Over 3,500 Virginians die each year due to addiction and related causes
  • Over 115 people die EVERY DAY from opioid overdoses in the United States
  • It costs US taxpayers $31,286 a year to incarcerate one person, and 85% of incarcerated individuals are there due to drug related charges
  • RECOVERY is the solution to the Substance Use Disorder epidemic taking place in our community, and McShin offers same day access to authentic peer recovery support services.2nd Annual Recovery Raise
