Walter Randall

Walter Randall, a native of Portsmouth VA is married to Tracy L. Randall who brings three (3) daughters while he brings four (4) sons and together seven (7) grandchildren to their wonderful family.

Walter graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1985, then immediately joined the Army to start his military career as a Chaplain Assistant. In 1993, he began addressing his struggle with addiction and has been clean from drugs since September 2, 1995(25 yrs clean). Walter was called in the ministry and licensed and ordained as in Elder on October 21, 2018 by Bishop Melvin Williams Jr., Senior Pastor of The Temple of Judah in Richmond, VA.

Walter believes that in order to go somewhere in this world, education is a must. Walter received his Substance Abuse Certification and his Career Studies Certification with a major in Substance Abuse Counseling Education, from J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, VA. Later, he graduated from J. Sergeant Reynolds with his Associate's Degree in Human Services. He received his Virginia Substance Abuse Counseling Assistant License from The Board of Health Professionals Counseling Department.

In the year of 2019 Walter graduated as Magnum Cum Laude from The Samuel De-Witt Proctor School of Theology a Virginia Union University with an Applied Master's Degree in Divinity. Since receiving an advance degree, Walter was able to obtain his state board license as a Qualified Mental Health Professional. Walter is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and The Beta Pi Chapter of Human Services Honor Society.

After working for the daily Planet Health Care Center for ten years, Walter recently transition to HYPE Counseling Service as a full time Substances Abuse Counsel. Walter also works as a weekend staff at the McShine foundation running weekend Relapse Prevention group and Intensive Group for both the female and men. Walter also conducts a Spiritual Service call Breaking The Bondages of Addiction a biblical approach from a 12 step perspective on Sundays from 9:00am -11:00am here at the McShine Foundation.
